Pet Adoption and The Pet Care Professional

How have you benefited the cause of Pet Adoption today?

As a pet care business owner it is your responsibility to take action for pet care adoption every day.  Your interaction within the pet care community gives you the power to impact pet adoptions in a powerful way.

Consider even the most routine activities of your day and find a way to infuse powerful adoption awareness strategies.  If you run a doggy day care, you have an influx of potential adopters, foster parents or adoption evangelists in your clients.

How can you encourage your clients to be involved in pet adoption?  The first step is to help your clients be the best prepared pet care owners they can be.  The more empowered they are to care for and manage their own pets, the more likely they are to keep their own pets and adopt in the future.

This is the foundational strategy of Dog Business Daily.

Once they are confident pet care owners, they can be motivated to adopt multiple pets or foster animals who would otherwise be euthanized.  Encourage your clients to get involved in the pet over population movement.

Educate your clients on the importance of pet sterilization and partner with your local humane society, shelters and veterinarians to hold clinics on pet sterilization activism.

Do constant searches for news you can share with your clients about pet sterilization.  You never know who might be inspired to create a solution for pet euthanization.

Billionaire, Dr. Gary Michelson has challenged the scientific community to create a simple, painless, speedy single step sterilization technique.  He is offering $25 - $75 Million Dollars to fund the research and development of such a technique.

It is possible the solution may come from one of your clients and you could be the catalyst inspiring the solution.

Warm Waggles,
Fran

Her Name is Olive!

Little Olive to those who love her.

We picked up our rescue puppy today and if someone doesn’t adopt her soon - I am going to need a bigger bed!

(find more videos at YouTube under my screen name UnityDog)

She is sweet, very smart, good with dogs, even better with people, great with children. We have had an amazing day getting to know this little bundle of soft fur. She loves to be in my lap, can hold her own with Lucy and had 5 kids around to play with, 3 of them under 3 years old and she was wonderful.

She needs someone who has time to work with her. With all the smarts comes potential that needs to be realized. She is also a high energy pup - needs to play and run. Take a look at the videos we shot of her today and contact me via email with a phone and best time to contact with any questions. She has one more round of shots, due in two weeks. fran@dogbusinessdaily.com

Foreclosure Dogs

We are all too aware of the housing foreclosure crisis - we hear about it non stop on CNN and Fox.

What we might not be as familiar with is the impact the housing crisis is having on man’s best friend. There are literally thousands of dogs being abandoned in foreclosed homes and even more given up to local shelters by loving families who can no longer care provide for their care.

Shelters are becoming over-run with foreclosure dogs. While there are many grass roots efforts to provide care for these animals, if something dramatic is not done - we will see tens of thousands of dogs, formerly living in loving homes euthanized due to shelter over population.

I know we all have families and businesses of our own to care for but there is a universal law that good attracts good. If you need help - help someone else in need. If you are struggling financially - reach out to help someone else prosper.

When you give away what it is you perceive as lacking in your own life - you align your energy with what it is you desire. It is scientifically proven that performing a good deed raises serotonin levels in the person performing the good deed, in those who are the recipients of the good deed and even in those who simply observe a good deed.

I don’t want us focusing on the pain and suffering. I want us focusing on the solution. I can see thousands of dogs and their families re-united in loving embraces, hugs, waggles and kisses.

I see a young family inspired by the second chance we have given them. The inspiration drives them with new energy and hope to find that new job and residence. It isn’t too long before Sambo’s parents drive up in their pickup truck and retrieve Sambo from our orphanage.

He has had fun and love during his stay with the Doggy Orphanage but what he dreams about, what really makes his tail wag is the sight of his parents and children walking through the gate with his favorite squeeky chicken toy.

When Sambo hops into that pickup truck he knows it was just a dream. He was just at camp, his family never abandoned him. He knew they were coming to get him all along. And, suddenly, all the other dogs believe it might be true for them too.

Let’s give families hope to ignite their rebuilding efforts. Let’s give dogs a chance to be reunited with their loving families.

Contribute what you can - as often as you can to the creation and development of the Doggy Orphanage. Every dime you send us will go towards sheltering, feeding and caring for a foreclosure dog.

When you contribute I will send you a 6 week dog obedience course you can use to train your own dog, as a model to use in your obedience classes, or as a give away of your own for your clients .

Look for an announcement about a new site dedicated to the dog orphanage in a few days where you can donate and download your 6 week training course. I will be developing lots of other goodies, so keep checking back and sending us what you can.

The site will primarily be used to generate awareness and funds but will eventually feature pictures and stories of the dogs you are saving.

Please use the donate button to the right of your screen to help right now…and check back for the next few days for the official dog orphanage website link.

Thank you and bless you for helping these families and pets.

Warmest of waggles,
Fran

Unity Dog Strategies

We intend to change the world for animals by empowering the Pet Care Business Owner with what we call “unity dog” marketing strategies. Unity Dog marketing is based in love for the pet care owner and ultimately for the animals; and has at its ultimate goal to restore unity between dog and human.

Our methods are simple - we focus on prospering the Pet Care Business owner. It is our belief that if we empower the loving dedicated pet care business owner with unity dog marketing tools and strategies to improve, grow and prosper their businesses - the value they bring to the pet care owner multiplies.

Imagine the dedication and comittment a new puppy owner feels and imagine that feeling lasting throughout the life of the dog. Instead of the love fading, the pet care owner is empowered with skills and resources to train and care for their pet.

  • No dog is abandoned
  • Pet owners confidence allows them to adopt multiple animals
  • Shelters embrace the “all live” methodology

When the Pet Care Business Owner incorporates unity dog marketing conepts in their business practices the pet care owner becomes empowered to care for their animals with ease.

As the power trickles down - there are more prosperous Pet Care Businesses, more competent pet owners and more animals adopted; fewer abandoned and ultimately - homes for all.

Confident, competent pet consciousness creates a nation where all dogs live! As the pet consciousness reaches critical mass - animal compassion is the standard.

I believe we have reached critical mass and change is about to manifest!
